If your Astral Contact Staff stops working within 1 year of its original purchase due to a defect in parts or craftsmanship, we'll repair it at no charge. Purchaser is responsible for its safe return. Shipping costs for the return must be paid by the purchaser and will not be refunded. Purchaser assumes all liability for any loss or damage that occurs during the return shipping.
The warranty does not cover normal wear occurring from normal use such as scuffs and scratches. The warranty does not cover any damage due to abuse, improper care, improper charging, or exposure to water, dirt, sand, heat, cold or other adverse environmental condition. Damage caused by heat, flame, or fuel from using it as a fire tool is not covered. Damage caused by forceful moves is not covered by this warranty. Breaking or cracking of the polycarbonate shell or the carbon fiber core and any other damage caused by such a break is not covered by this warranty.
Taking proper care of your contact staff is your responsibility. To avoid damages not covered by this warranty, please review the important Contact Staff Care Instructions in this manual. We do not recommend repairing or modifying the staff yourself. This warranty is void if the staff is taken apart, disassembling, or modified in any way. This includes using the staff without the supplied silicone end caps firmly in place. To have a contact staff repaired under this warranty, please visit the Service section of our website.
